Remix culture is a society that consists of people taking objects or ideas that already exist and repurposing them into something new and different. Here are some examples of objects that I have come up with by combining objects found on Thingaverse

The Saturn Raceway

The rings of Saturn consist of orbiting asteroids and ice at high speeds. This made me think of races and toy race cars going around in a constant loop

Ballet skirts are usually very wide and poofy which reminded me of umbrellas. Thinking of it that way, I made a ballerina holding another ballerina as an umbrella

Swing Pendant Earing

There are many earing designs and styles out there, one of the most common one being pendant style earrings. Pendant earrings swing around while walking so I took that concept literally and made a swing earring.

Royal Fountain

While making the other fountain design, I thought of people who actually have fountains. Those people are usually very rich or are royalty. I decided to combine those concepts by putting a symbol of royalty, the queen chess piece into a fountain design.

Butter Truck

I was sitting at my dining table looking for ideas. I see the butter container and think how simple the object is, it is meant to hold just one thing. This thought of holding and the general shape of the butter container made me think of delivery trucks so I decided to combine these concepts into one.
